A Little About Me...

I am extremely passionate about teaching and creating educational resources and beautiful clipart. As a special education teacher, I have taught K-2 Autism self-contained, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Currently, I am the ESOL/ELL interventionist at our middle school.

Academic credentials: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language-Hearing
  • Master’s degree in Special Education K-12
  • Reading Specialist Certification K-12

As a certified Reading Specialist specializing in dyslexia, I am trained to utilize several high-quality Orton Gillingham-based programs such as the Wilson Reading System and Barton Reading and Spelling. I am also trained to teach Foundations in Sounds, a highly structured prereading program helping students with auditory discrimination, auditory memory size, and auditory sequencing.

Other certifications: ESL and German. Previous career: Graphic and design.
